GM's (GM) CEO Fritz Henderson Comments At The National Summit

Below are highlights of what GM's (NYSE: GM) (OTC: GMGMQ) Fritz Henderson said during his presentation at The National Summit.
  • GM will have 14 hybrids in production by 2012.
  • Henderson said the Chevy Volt, an extended range electric vehicle, will run 40 miles on pure electricity.
  • Gas price volatility is not going anywhere. GM is focused on fuel efficiency.
  • Fritz expects in the future we will have higher energy prices driven by consumer demand.
  • New General Motors will have lower breakeven points.
  • China auto market could surpass US this year.
  • In the end, the consumer will drive us to more fuel efficient vehicles.
