GE Continues to Run, Breaking Thru $17 Today

Cracking yet another psychological and technical barrier today, the $17 level, shares of General Electric (NYSE: GE) have now pulled back and are currently trading in the high $16.90's, up about 6% for the session.
Upside momentum in the stock has been unrelenting over the last half-month-or-so. Shares of GE were trading below the $14 level just seven trading sessions ago, as recent as September 4. Volume in the stock has also been, on average, pretty heavy this month, giving shareholders hope that the breakout means something.
Shares of GE are up more than 22% this month alone.
