GE (GE) Stock Jumps 12% on S&P Downgrade

Shares of General Electric (NYSE: GE) are now up more than 12%, or $1.02. The stock most recently traded at $9.52.

The stock is spiking today on news that S&P has cut its AAA credit rating one notch to AA+.
