Fortress Investment Group (FIG) Acquires Revolution Studios in $250M Deal

Fortress Investment Group (NYSE: FIG) is said to have acquired Revolution Studios for around $250 million.
Variety reported the event on Thursday night.
Revolution had around $175 million of debt and Fortress borrowed $150 million to complete the sale.
Revolution tapped Evolution Media Capital at the end of 2013 to evaluate alternatives with the studios' credit facility ending in early 2014.
Notable releases from Revolution include Black Hawk Down
Maid in Manhattan,
Anger Management,
and Daddy Day Care.
Shares of Fortress are flat in early trading Friday.
