Ford (F) Spiking On Positive CEO Comments

Today, Ford (NYSE: F) is spiking approximately 5.7% after its CEO Alan Mulally made bullish comments to reporters. Mulally said the U.S. market was showing signs of recovery and and he expected industry sales to rise over the next two years.
Mullaly said he estimated vehicle sales for the industry to be between 10.5 million to 11 million in 2009, about 12.5 million in 2010, and 14.5 million in 2011.
Ford is currently trading up 5.71% to $7.42.
