Following Trademark Settlement, Apple (AAPL) Poised to Take iPad to China

The iPad is about to see an incredible uptick in sales.
Following recent news that Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) and Proview settled a trademark dispute over the iPad name, Apple might be set to launch the device sometime this month.
According to Chinese language blog PC Pop, the tentative date for launch of the new iPad in China in July 27th. Expectations have Apple aiming to release a 3G version of the iPad, given recent trouble its had in Australia as well as China's underdeveloped 4G network. In addition, pricing might come in-line with iPad 2 pricing.
So, an announcement might be made within days if Apple is to go ahead with the launch in China. Sales should pop with Apple making better efforts to eradicate the black market and knock-off products from being sold.
Shares of Apple are slightly lower in early trading Friday.
