First Solar (FSLR) Leads Solars Higher, Up Over 12%

First Solar (Nasdaq: FSLR) continues to push higher Monday, shares up over 12 percent on the session. Volume on the move is heavy today as well.
One item might be positioning ahead of solar earnings, with SunPower (Nasdaq: SPWRA) expected to report November 3, 2011, and others toward the middle of the month. Additionally, about 12 percent of shares are being held short, meaning a squeeze above $55 - $60 might happening.
Others moving today include LDK Solar (NYSE: LDK), which is up about 8.5 percent, JA Solar (Nasdaq: JASO), up 6 percent, and Yingli Green Energy (NYSE: YGE), up 7 percent.
