First Photo of Tesla's (TSLA) Model X on the Street Emerges

Tesla Motors' (Nasdaq: TSLA) launch of its Model X might still be a ways off, but that doesn't mean testing isn't happening right now.
InsideEVs.com posted a photo recently of what might be the only Model X in existence right now. The photo was captured in Culver City, California, which is about 10 miles from Hawthorne.
Tesla's Model X would be the first SUV made available from the company. Launch is expected later in 2014 and the car will be on display at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, MI, which will be happening later in January.
Shares of Tesla are up in early trading Thursday. The image is below, via @jmtibs on Instagram:
