Facebook is reportedly bring to market its own email service, which is reffered to internally as the 'Gmail Killer," as the world's biggest social networking site looks to take users away from Rival Google Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG).
According to a report from TechCrunch, Facebook is preparing to bring email services to its users with an unveiling at a special event scheduled for Monday.
Details of the secret project known as Titan are vague, but it is safe to say that Facebook will attempt to bring together email and social networking together to allow its more than 500 million users to experience a new level on Internet connectivity with friends.
