Facebook (Nasdaq: FB) shares are ticking higher Wednesday heading into the company's News Feed event, which is slated to happen tomorrow.

Over the last few weeks, Facebook has drawn some criticism over its News Peed, with some business owners saying that they are unable to reach all of the fans they've acquired due to the new structure of the Feed.

Facebook is even said to be charging more to post a message to all of a businesses fans. For example, there's this NY Times piece written yesterday.

Facebook has even responded to some of the complaints with its Fact Check page.

Whether or not tomorrow's event will be a new and more profitable venture for Facebook and its business users will have to be seen. Ultimately, Facebook's goal is finding ways to draw in new revenue streams without alienating business users in the process.

Shares of Facebook are up 1.5 percent.
