Facebook (FB) Sued by User Over Facial-Recognition Technology

Facebook (Nasdaq: FB) is being sued by a user alleging that the social media giant's photo-tagging technology violates Illinois privacy law.
Bloomberg said that the specific law in question is the state's Biometric Information Privacy Act. The suit claims that Facebook has has secretly amassed the world’s largest
privately held database of consumer biometric data.
Shares of Facebook are down 1.2 percent.
