Facebook (Nasdaq: FB) shares were added to the Nasdaq 100 (Nasdaq: NDX) today, following an announcement made last week. The social network giant will replace Infosys (Nasdaq: INFY) on the index.
Leading up to the inclusion, Facebook has moved up 46 percent since opening at $19.15 on November 12th. Shares have closed lower just six times in the last 21 sessions.
Today, shares are paring some gains, down 0.8 percent early.
