Facebook (FB) Said Testing 'Read Receipts' for Events

Facebook (Nasdaq: FB) is giving users something else to gripe about.
Reports out Tuesday have Facebook integrating read receipts into Events. That means the host of an event will be able to see who received invitations and checked for updates on the events posted page.
Facebook has already included the feature in Groups and Messenger and no feature currently exists to disable it at this time. So, users won't be able to opt-out of events.
Shares of Facebook are up 0.3 percent Tuesday morning.
