Facebook (Nasdaq: FB) is looking to keep users on its social network and using evil tactics to do so: photo album collaboration.
Reports have Facebook allowing users to each upload photographs to one shared album. Up to 50
Prior to today's upgrade, users were the only ones with access to a photo album and the albums were limited to 1000 photos.
Given the popularity of sharing and being tagged in photos by just about everyone, this new initiative from Facebook should prove to be a solid addition. No word on whether or not the albums will be accessible or editable from mobile devices.
Facebook hit a 52-week high of $41.94 today. Shares are up modestly in late trading.

contributorswill be allowed to participate with each user able to add 200 photographs. Album admin can control who is allowed to join the album or allow others to invite friends.
