Facebook (Nasdaq: FB) shares are up early following reports over the weekend that a broader launch of its Graph Search feature will begin today.
ABC News said Sunday that several hundred million Facebook users will begin being able to access the service, which allows for more precise searching of friend/relative profiles to find common interests.
Privacy issues might arise from Graph Search, particularly as the number of users increases. It allows for scan through older data, making privacy settings more important than ever.
No word on when the mobile version of Graph Search will launch.
