Etrade (Nasdaq: ETFC) shares are continuing the rapid decline. Stock analysts thought the stock would rise after TD Ameritrade (Nasdaq: AMTD) CEO Joe Moglia said that he would be interested in Etrade's retail brokerage business. Mr. Moglia said, ""The retail business is a good solid franchise, and it's one we're interested in."
Etrade is currently trading down 9% at $4.29, this is down from ETFC's 52-week high of $26.08.
