EMC (NYSE: EMC) has risen from under $14.50 to over $17 in under 30 days. I am hearing some smart hedge funds are pressuring EMC to spin-off the rest of VMware (NYSE: VMW). EMC still owns approximately 85% of VMware.
Today, EMC is trading up $0.59 to $17.27 and VMware is up $2.231 at $68.61. I am an owner of EMC shares.
