E-Commerce Books Record-Breaking Q410 Sales

According to comScore (Nasdaq: SCOR) Q410 wasn't a very good quarter for e-Commerce retailers...it was a record smashing quarter.
According to the Reston, VA-based researcher, e-Commerce sales in Q410 increased 11% from Q409, to a record-breaking $43.4 billion.
SCOR notes that discounting and promotions, along with improving consumer sentiment bolstered the results.
Top-performing categories included: Computer Software, Consumer Electronics, Books & Magazines, Computers/Peripherals/PDAs, and Toys & Hobbies. Each of these categories grew by 15% or more from last year in thesame period.
Additionally, users conducting a transaction online jumped 600 basis points from 78% in Q409 to 84%.
E-Tailers aren't seeing too much of a move today, some are in the green:
