We have some dueling analysts on Halliburton Company (NYSE: HAL) today. On tier-one firm downgraded the stock while another upgraded the stock.
JP Morgan downgraded Halliburton today from Overweight to Neutral, citing lower earnings power for North American oilfield services and valuation.
On the other hand, Goldman Sachs upgraded Halliburton from Neutral to Buy and added the stock to their Conviction Buy List. Goldman likes the valuation versus peers and said the stock will benefit from an early state economic recovery.
