DoubleLine Capital CEO Gets $10 Million Lesson in Risk Management
Jeffrey Gundlach, CEO of DoubleLine Capital, received a lesson in risk management recently when he was burglarized to the tune of $10 million.
According to authorities, last Friday thieves broke into his home in Santa Monica and made off with several collectible paintings and a 2010 red Porsche Carrera 4S. The loot included paintings by Impressionist Guy Rose and landscape artist Hanson Duvall Puthuff. Thieves also helped themselves to five luxury watch, a few bottles of fine wine, and a fist full of cash.
According to reports, the heist took place while Gundlach was on a trip. Reports have a $100,000 reward being offered for info that results in resolution of the case.
