Dick's (DKS) Up 5.5%+ Following Narrowed Q4 Outlook, $200M Buyback

Dick's Sporting Goods, Inc. (NYSE: DKS) is moving higher pre-market Thursday, following narrowed guidance as well as authorizing a new $200 million common stock buyback plan.

According to the release, Dick's narrowed its fourth-quarter earnings outlook from a range of 87 cents to 89 cents, to a range of 87 cents to 88 cents. The Street was modeling EPS of 87 cents on average.
