Decision Expected Tomorrow on Fate of Satellite Radio in Canada

A decision is expected tomorrow afternoon (06/16) on if and under what condition Canada will allow satellite radio services to operate in the country. According to reports, the Canadian Radio Television Commission has three license applications on the table. The groups looking for licenses include Sirrius (NASDAQ: SIRI) and XM Satellite (NASDAQ: XMSR). The services are expected to be very similar to services in the US, but will likely carry more Canadian content.
