On Mad Money last night, Jim Cramer interviewed Verizon's (NYSE: VZ) CEO Ivan Seidenberg. Cramer and Seidenberg talked about many things, including: Verizon's popular FiOS product, text messaging and VZ's future.
Seidenberg said people love the picture quality and the triple-play aspect of it. Cramer said, Verizon's fiber-optic service is a huge growth story for it and one that will maintain Verizon's nice yield.
Cramer told his Mad Money audience "We want stocks that have no exposure to the pain in the economy and the credit market. We want something that looks like Verizon."
Also, Cramer was asked if he liked Verizon or Comcast (Nasdaq: CMCSA) better, and he said he favors Verizon.
