Citigroup (NYSE: C) has now traded 2 billion shares following its botched equity offering, which priced at $3.15. Shares last traded at $3.20 on the NYSE.
After the close, Citi priced 5.4 billion common shares and 35 million tangible equity units as part of its agreement with the U.S. government and its regulators to repay TARP. The government delayed the sale of some of their shares.
