China's FY11 Industrial Profits Continue to Rip Through August

China's industrial companies are continuing to show strong growth, even as global demand has waned on debt issues.
Data Tuesday shows industrial profits through the month of August increasing 28.2 percent to 3.2 trillion yuan. The number is down slightly from the 28.3 percent gain in January through July, China's National Bureau of Statistics reported.
Industrial revenue increased 29.9 percent to 53.2 trillion yuan over the first eight months of 2011. Revenue increased 16 percent from 45.9 trillion yuan recorded for the first seven months of 2011.
iShares FTSE China 25 Index Fund (NYSE: FXI) is up about 1.5 percent early Tuesday.
