Celanese (CE) Continues To Rise On Improved Outlook

Celanese Corp. (NYSE: CE) continues to see upside momentum today, a day after the Company raised its FY07 outlook before the market opened yesterday. Celanese now expects EPS for FY07 to be in the range of $3.26 to $3.31, compared to prior guidance of $3.10 to $3.20. The Wall Street consensus is currently $3.21. Celanese also introduced FY08 non-GAAP EPS guidance of $3.35 to $3.65, versus the Street consensus of $3.63.
Shares of Celanese are up about 4% today, and have hit a new 52-week high of $43.51. This new level also marks a new all-time high for the Company's stock price. Celanese stock has risen nearly 7% this week on the revised guidance news.
