Shares of Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS) are trading up over 10% on the heels of news that Warren Buffett will invest $5 billion in rival Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS). Investors believe the move by Bufffett, while not directly benefiting Morgan Stanley, provides support for the investment banking model.
