Brink's (BCO) Could Rise 25% - Barron's

October 8, 2012 8:52 AM EDT
Barron's thinks shares of the Brink's Company (NYSE: BCO) could rally 25 percent in the next year as management initiates a series of moves to help drive profits. The initiatives include a restructuring designed to boost segment operating-profit margins, with a goal of a 10 percent improvement by 2015 goal. If successful, earnings could rise 15 percent next year to $2.32 a share, from this year's expected $2.01.

Since the start of the recession business has slowed at Brink's, a security company that carries cash and valuables in armored trucks. In response, the company has reduced head count and is consolidating operations in an effort to improve margins, noted the Barron's article.

Shares of Brink's are indicated to open at $26.55 or higher after closing at $26 on Friday.
