Barron's Highlights Sonic Solutions (SNIC) On Changing Movie-Rental Business

Barron's highlighted DVD software company Sonic Solutions (Nasdaq: SNIC), which has seen volatile times as more an more movies are sold over the Internet.

Sonic has seen profits dry up with DVD sales falling by more than 10% annually. But Barron's contends that if a couple of Sonic's partners succeed, it could help lead to a turnaround.� Those partners include Blockbuster (NYSE: BBI), movie studios and consumer-electronics vendors, which are trying to regain control over the term under which we watch movies.
