Barnes & Noble, Inc. (NYSE: BKS) shares are getting hit Wednesday following the U.S. DoJ settlement with publishers and decision to file a suit against Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL). Shares are down about 5.3 percent.
In the settlement, the publishers (CBS's (NYSE: CBS) Simon & Schuster, HarperCollins, and Hachette) are prohibited for 2 years from being able to enter new pacts which constrain pricing options.
