Shares of BP (NYSE: BP) are down 15% in pre-open trading to $36.56, following the unsuccessful "Top Kill" maneuver and still gushing oil well.
The news is also impacting shares of other companies involved with the oil spill. Transocean Ltd. (NYSE: RIG) is down 8%, Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: APC) is indicated about 3% lower, Halliburton Company (NYSE: HAL) is down 3.3% and Cameron International (NYSE: CAM) is indicated lower.
