Chatter on Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) much-rumored, yet still unannounced iTV picked up Tuesday following reports in China that partner Foxconn is in the early stages of production of the full-fledged television set.
On Monday, Sina reported that sources told the Business Daily that Fuji Kang Longhua factory in Shenzhen IDPBG Business Group has received orders for the Apple TV is currently in trial production stage.
Rumors have suggested an iTV could have features like gesture and voice control, iCloud, Safari web surfing, app store, gaming, premium resolution and audio.
Analysts are mixed on the potential success of a TV from Apple, although recent commentary from StreetInsider.com suggests that if Apple could do away with the cable box it could be a huge success.
