Shipments of Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) latest handsets -- the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus -- may reach up to 85 million units during the second-half of 2015.
Data comes from Digitimes Research, which sees an overall shipment range of 80 to 85 million units.
Total iPhone shipments for H215 may hit 125 to 130 million units, with total iPhone shipments for 2015 in the range of 234 to 239 million.
However, Digitimes Research noted a few negatives on the numbers, including dwindling iPhone demand in China, lack of cooperation with carriers, and ho-hum feature updates that might not spur a spike in demand.
Shares of Apple are negative in early trading Friday.
