Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) is set to unveil its second-generation of the popular iPad tablet computer on Wednesday, and the device could roll out to stores later this week.
Photos from computers at Best Buy Inc. (NYSE: BBY) were obtained by MacRumors that show the 16GB Wi-Fi only and 3G iPad had been deleted from the store's inventory system.
The evidence point towards at least one version of the refreshed tablet device being made available quickly from Apple, which would be a contradiction to reports that the company would have to wait until April to launch due to supply constraints.
Shares of Apple are down 1.02 percent to $349.55 in midday market movement on Tuesday.
