Oracle (Nasdaq: ORCL) is on watch Friday following an update to Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) Safari browser which isn't too "Flash friendly."
Okay, it's not "Flash friendly" at all.
The latest update for OS X updates the Safari web plug-in-blocking mechanism to disable the web plug-in for Adobe Flash Player, Apple said on its support site.
Apple's move comes following reports of security flaws within Flash.
According to TheNextWeb, "The minimum version of Flash Player in the latest update to Apple’s ‘Xprotect’ file is 11.6.602.171."
Shares of Apple are down over 2 percent while Oracle is up 1.2 percent.
