Apple (AAPL) May Launch Up to 24 Different iPad Mini Models

Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) apparently isn't going to launch a new, smaller iPad model in October. It's going to launch 24 of them.
According to 9to5Mac, data from a recent SKU leak point to Apple releasing four variations of the iPad Mini (P101, P103, P105, and P107), with three levels of memory (good, better, and best), and two colors (black and white).
The site cautioned that rumors of an Lightning connector in an updated iPad 3 ("New iPad") may occupy two of the four model numbers.
In any case, 12 is still a lot of variety when it comes to smaller iPads. Shares of Apple are up about 0.8 percent Tuesday.
