Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) was rumored to be mulling a larger display on its iPhone. The question was posed at Yahoo! Finance: "Would you buy a phone with a bigger screen?"
Results at midday are as follows:
* Yes, it's better for watching videos - 5818 votes, or 26 percent of the total
* No, they're getting too big - 10308 votes, or 46 percent of the total
* I'd like it bigger, but not too much - 6515 votes, or 28 percent of the total
The poll isn't scientific and didn't necessarily ask whether you'd buy an iPhone with a larger display. Given that the average human hand is 7.44 inches from wrist to tip of the middle finger and 3.30 inches across the palm, offerings like Samsung's Galaxy S4 (5-inch display) and its Note 2 "phablet" (5.5-inch screen) might seem a little large to some and cumbersome to haul around. Apple's currently iPhone 5 handset has just a 4-inch display and there haven't been too many complaints about the display so far.
Shares of Apple are up 0.2 percent.
