Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) iPad 3 is set to be introduced to the world in an event scheduled for March 7.
The invite reads "We have something you really have to see. And touch." The picture on the invite has a finger touching an iPad calendar on Wednesday the 7th.
The event is set to start at 10AM PST in San Francisco.
Earlier rumors suggested the new iPad would be quad-core with 4G LTE.
Shares of are up 1.55% currently to $533.89 and are a few dollars away from topping the $500 billion market cap level.
