Despite Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) overcoming its challenge with Apple Maps, which hit the company September 2012, there might be another problem leading many astray.
CNET today said that the iPhone 5s might be suffering under widespread directional malfunctions. Reports have directional sensors being very prone to error, with two potential issues being the software and/or a calibration error.
The app being most-affected by the error is the iPhone 5s compass. The device shows an averge of 8- to 10-degrees of difference when compared with the iPhone 5 collaboration, sources said.
CNET noted that the iPhone 5s gyroscope and intclinometer are also acting up.
