Apple's (AAPL) Gets A Great Free Promotion During The Oscars

During tonight's Oscars, Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) was on the receiving end of a great free promotion. Jon Stewart, Oscar host, held up an Apple iPhone during one of his jokes and then turned it sideways in to get a different viewing angle. The Oscars are one of the most watched television shows and I don't know if that promotion for the iPhone will see a significant impact in sales, but it definitely can only help.

I still expect a much wider adoption of iPhones over the next 18 months.
