Antero Resources (AR) $1.45B IPO Slated for This Friday

The big IPO this week will arguably be Antero Resources Corp. (NYSE: AR).
Antero Resources, which will be 38.4 percent held by Warburg Pincus following the offering, is looking to sell 30 million shares with an expected offering price of $38 to $42 per share. Along with the greenshoe, value of the offering will be about $1.45 billion.
Following the IPO, about 255,125,000 shares will be outstanding for total market cap of $10.7 billion.
Antero is expected to launch Friday, October 11th. The company is an independent natural gas and oil company engaged in the exploitation, development and acquisition of natural gas, NGLs and oil properties located in the Appalachian Basin in West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
