Android Tops iOS in Q1 Mobile Ad Impressions (GOOG) (AAPL

New data from Millennial Media's (MM) MobileMix report has Google's (Nasdaq: GOOG) Android topping Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) iOS in at least one key metric.
CNET today noted that the report has Android garnering 52 percent of all ad impressions through Q1, from 49 percent in the prior year.
At 39 percent, iOS took second-place honors. iOS took 33 percent of ad impressions in the same period last year.
In terms of device markers, Apple led with 36.8 percent of ad impressions, while Samsung was second at 27 percent.
Apple's iPad and iPad mini tablets took 54 percent of ad impressions on tablets, while Android surged 96 percent for a 45 percent stake of the market.
Both Apple and Google are lower on Thursday's session.
