Anadarko Petroleum (APC) Updates on Nat Gas Facility Explosion

Anadarko Petroleum (NYSE: APC) shares are flat in late-trading amid an update from the company with respect to an explosion at its natural gas plant in Orla, Texas.

The company said it is bringing the fire under control and that there is no timeline with respect to restarting operations at the plant.

Earlier, it was reported that at least two people were injured following an explosion at the facility. The plant is owned by Western Gas Partners, a unit of Anadarko.

Anadarko ended up closing around 1 percent lower today.
