Amazon.com (Nasdaq: AMZN) is said to have pulled its Amazon Wallet application from the Google Play Store and Amazon App Store.
One Amazon spokesperson commented to TechCrunch today, We’ve learned a great deal from the Amazon Wallet beta program and will look for ways to apply these lessons in the future as we continue to innovate on behalf of our customers.
The move isn't expected to have an impact on Amazon Local Register, the company's Kindle-based point-of-sale service.
