Amazon (AMZN) Panel Orders Could Delay Apple (AAPL) iPad Shipments

According to Digitimes, Amazon is scheduled to place touch panel orders with several Taiwan-based manufacturers, including Wintek and TPK. Deliveries are scheduled for the second-half of 2011.
Industry sources have pegged orders at 15.2 million units.
The sources also said that Amazon plans to ship four million units before the end of 2011.
TPK said it's reluctant to take orders from Amazon on concerns over capacity, and Wintek, landing orders from Apple recently, said it's production schedule would become tight into the second half of 2011. due to orders from Amazon.
Amazon shares are slightly lower pre-market, while Apple is slightly higher.
