Amid a feud over using the term "App Store," Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN) has launched two new digital stores for Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) Mac software.
Mac users will be about to select from 252 pieces of software, the majority of which are applications, according to CNET.
Similar to Apple's Mac App Store, Amazon will allow users to re-download apps if they misplace the file.
One item already being promoted by Amazon is Mac Office 2011, also available on Microsoft's (Nasdaq: MSFT) own store. This program hasn't been available on Apple's Mac App Store.
