Alcoa (AA) Picks Up Steam Into Earnings

Shares of Alcoa, Inc. (NYSE: AA) are rising for the second straight session ahead of earnings on January 10.
Shares of Aloca were up 2.7 percent yesterday on a Deutsche Bank upgrade, and is up another 3.2 percent in pre-open action.
In its upgrade yesterday, Deutsche Bank cited growing optimism of higher aluminum prices. The firm also said operationally Alcoa has turned the corner, which could "spark a revaluation of its shares."
