Airbus Tops Boeing (BA) in Commerical Orders for 2013

While Boeing (NYSE: BA) earlier reported 1,531 gross orders and 1,355 net order commercial aircraft in 2013, it wasn't quite enough to be the global leader.
Reuters noted today that Airbus (OTCBB: EADSY) received more orders in both categories, citing sources on the information.
While Airbus might have one the order race, Boeing's 648 commercial aircraft deliveries in 2013 outpaced Airbus' 625 deliveries. Notably, Airbus set a 2013 delivery goal of 620 units.
Shares of Boeing are up about 0.9 percent.
