American Airlines, of AMR Corp (OTCBB: AAMRQ), said operations are back to normal Wednesday following a mishap with the airlines reservation system on Tuesday.
Due to a glitch that affected primary and backup network systems, American cancelled 1,000 flights yesterday, while halting about 100 others.
American added extra flights today to help customers who had travel plans disrupted due to the event.
Shares are about 0.5 percent lower. AMR is set to merger with US Airways (NYSE: LCC) this year, which is trading higher on the session.
