On April 30, 2009, AMAG Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: AMAG) is rising approximately 16% trading over $52 after receiving positive feedback from the FDA.

On April 30, 2009, AMAG Pharmaceuticals announced that the FDA informed AMAG Pharmaceuticals that the observations noted during the recent inspection of its’ Cambridge, Massachusetts manufacturing facility have been adequately addressed, and that a re-inspection of its manufacturing facility will not be required as a condition to approval of Feraheme™ (ferumoxytol injection).
